CONTEST RULES

Eligibility

1.    In order to be eligible to participate in this contest you must be eighteen (18) of age and over and must reside in the Province of Québec.

How to participate

2.    No purchase necessary. Contest begins May 15th, 2008, and ends August 1st, 2008. To participate you must complete the questionnaire printed in the Summer 2008 Edition of the Québec Travel Booklet or posted on the Internet at www.VacationPlannersCorner.com, on or before the contest deadline of August 1st, 2008.

Internet participants will receive an email confirmation of their participation. One participation bulletin only per email address and/or place of residence. Prize attribution is limited to one per person and by email address and/or place of residence. By participating in this contest, participants also accept to abide by all rules of eligibility and conditions described in the contest rules.

3.    The fourteen (14) prize winners will be randomly selected in the course of a draw to be held on August 5th, 2008, at the EFF Communication Marketing offices, located at 430 Ste-Hélène Street, Suite 301, Montréal, Québec, Canada. The names of the fourteen (14) winners will be published after the draw on the www.VacationPlannersCorner.com website. The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible participants.

Prizes

A)   1st Prize – Anticosti Island Discovery Package, North-South Option

A one-week stay for two

This package for two includes :

•    One week at Anticosti (from Saturday to saturday)
•    Round-trip air transportation from Mont-Joli
•    Inn accommodations (3 days on the northern coast and 4 days on the
      southern coast

•    Radio-equipped land vehicle
•    Unlimited mileage (gasoline and insurance not included)
•    Access rights to the parc national d’Anticosti


B) 2nd prize – Harmony Package at Auberge Duchesnay (Inn)

Three three-night stays for two
>    Value : $1,037.50 per stay x 3 = $3,112.50
>    Valid until September 2009

The Harmony Package includes:

•    Three nights accommodation at Duchesnay Inn
•    3 breakfasts and 2 « Table d’hôte » dinners
•    Access to all activities available at the Station

C) 3rd Prize – Ready-to-Camp Huttopia Tent Package

Ten three-night stays in Huttopia tent
>    Value: $297/stay  x 10 = $2,970
>    Valid until Spetember 2009

Each package includes :

•    One campsite with Huttopia tent for five persons (max. 2 adults and their
      chlidren)  
•    Electric or gas heating
•    Electric lighting and backup lighting (paraffin wax candles)
•    Exterior cooking stove (under an awning), small refrigerator, kitchenware,
      picnic table with two garden chairs, etc.
•    Access to sanitary unit (showers and toilets)


General Conditions

Via the Internet : the participant must go to www.VacationPlannersCorner.com and complete the questionnaire.

5.    To win, all potential winners must first complete a written declaration confirming compliance with the contest rules and will be required to release EFF Communication Marketing inc., their sponsors, their advertising and promotional agencies, from liability with respect to the contest and any damages whatsoever, which could arise from the acceptance and utilisation of the prizes. To that end all winners must agree to sign a declaration and release form before obtaining his or her prize. Failure on the part of a selected entrant to return the affidavit by the deadline as posted on the release form may result in disqualification of that person and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries.

6.    The participant fulfilling all requirements will be declared a winner and will receive his/her prize a maximum of ten (10) following receipt of the declaration of compliance and release form. Note that to win, all potential winners must first correctly answer (without help) a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by phone or mail or email.

7.    EFF is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the contest. EFF assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. EFF is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond EFF’s control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, EFF reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. In case of litigation, Internet entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the actual person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that grants e-mail addresses. The provider must be responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The selected entrant may be required to provide the Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.

8.    EFF reserves the right, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (« R.A.C.J. »), to modify or to cancel this contest upon providing proper grounds or if the R.A.C.J. judges that the public will not be penalized.

9.    This contest is open to Québec residents aged eighteen and over, with the exception of EFF employees, agents and representatives, their partners, their partners, their promotion and advertising agencies, as well as to persons residing at the same address.

10.    This contest is subject to applicable laws and regulations. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

12.    No correspondence will be exchanged with persons other than the randomly selected participants.

13.    The names of the winners will remain posted on the www.VacationPlannersCorner.com website until 5 pm (Eastern Standard Time) on September 11, 2008. Winners will be advised by phone. Prizes will be sent to the winners before August 25th, 2008, at the latest.
