Holidays with the kids
The holidays are there; here are some ideas and suggestions of places, in several regions of Québec, to discover with the kids being during an excursion of a few hours or for a few days. Make sure to check the opening dates and time for these places before June 24 and after labour day since their schedule may differ.
Bas Saint-Laurent
Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing, river rafting, rock climbing, archery, hiking at Pohénégamook Santé Plein-Air.
Eastern Townships
Prepare your bathing suits; the Parc Aquatique Ski Bromont will open its doors until August 24th. You could also practice mountain bike.
Charlevoix and Manicouagan
Croisières Groupe Dufour invites you to come aboard to discover the whales in their natural habitat at the junction of the Saint-Lawrence River and the Saguenay River Fjord.
The Laurentians
Santa Claus was elected Touristic Personality of the Laurentians, he will be leaving the North Pole to move back to the Village du Père Noël in Val-David as of June 9. The characters of Alice, Snow White, Red Riding Hood and LouLou and Bunny will meet you Au Pays des Merveilles in Sainte-Adèle starting on June 13.
Mauricie
You will find at the Melville Island Park in Shawinigan many interesting activities such as Tree link, recreational watercrafts and bicycles rental, hiking trail, pool, tennis courts and boat cruise. Tourism Mauricie in one of his summer package will allow the kids to discover the cultural icons of a generation, the Passe Partout phenomenon at the Musée québécois de culture populaire.
Monteregie
Tourism Suroît suggest ten excursions tours. Here are two; Ascents in Nature takes you from Pointe-Fortune to the Massif of Rigaud and proposes an adventure at Arbraska Rigaud. On the flanks of the Covey Hill will take you to Parc Safari. The boys and why not the girls as well will be fascinated by Exporail, the Canadian Railway Museum.
Montreal
